Description

This Book opens the door to a world that has gone forever. THE BEATLES were at the centre of an epistorm that seemed to cover everything in popular culture, music, marketing, publishing, art, and pop.

But above all, they were creating (and very often orchestrating) that news, making inroads with brand-new ideas that are now commonplace in the music industry.

Inside No3 takes you through that famous door, deep into the minds of all who worked there at Apple Records. This is done also in a very different way. This is not a kiss-and-tell diary, it is through fan adulation and understanding via a personal collection of artifacts and memorabilia that author Nigel Pearce has built up over the last 50 years.

This book is the first in a series, that will in time compile a truly wonderful fans’ compendium of a world that many people never knew existed. That famous door at No 3 Savile Row, London W.1. has now been opened for the world to sample that colourful world that lies within. It is a world that has been closed for nearly 50 years – enjoy!!

THE BOOK IS AVAILABLE DIRECT FROM THE PUBLISHER VIA THE WEBSITE

Nigel has now assembled a stunning package to be seen and appreciated through personal visits and presentations and has already received glowing comments from those who have sampled and tasted the world of Apple records. For prices and dates please contact Nigel again via the website.

Buyer Beware: I ordered a copy of the softcover on September 25. A couple days later it was in the Processing status, where it has remained through today. I have sent them several emails and have not received any responses. Very disappointed. I’m hoping mine is an isolated issue.

We have not received an order from you, and have certainly not received any emails from you either, so are confused as to your comments. If you can send me a copy of your order then I can look into it for you.

All orders come through to me, and I have had neither an order or email from you.

Please feel free to contact me at david@beatlesbookstore.com

This volume is a brilliant start to opening the door of No 3 Savile Row, the base of Apple Records from 1968 to 1976. This is a world still largely unknown to the world at large. The photographs are clear, and displays a colourful world of The Beatles which had high aims and plans. It is a real treasure to have and so long overdue. The quality of the book is beautiful, and the project holds a lot of promise, to fill a huge gap in Beatles published history. The fact that so much of it is carefully stored and catalogued shows the absolute devotion to the cause. Thank goodness Nigel has been able to do this, during his lifetime, it is a true world and social treasure!!
